is the royal purple 5w 30w oil good to use on a daily driven car or should i buy the thicker oil and which weight should i buy

10w30 would be fine no need to use thicker oil if not necesary

DEPENDS ON HOW TIGHT OR LOOSE THE MOTOR IS SETUP. I RUN 10W 40 OR EVEN 20W 40 IN THE SUMMER AND 5W 40 IN THE WINTER. I RUN STANDARD VOLUME PUMPS AND OIL PRESSURE STAYS GOOD. quote:

i would go thicker if u have over 100k miles...something like 0w-40..if not then 5w-30.

redline is group V, amsoil group IV. royal purple is a group IV with cheap base stock. so tske your pick
