Im looking for a good mechanic in the westbay or close to fairfield. I have an 87 mustang 5.0 with a few mediocre problems. I could probably fix the problems myself but i can no longer work on my car at my apartment. I need the work below done on my car sometime this weekend, as i am moving next weekend. So if you are or know a good mechanic w/ a shop, please let me know.
problem #1: the car has been sittin outside for almost a year and i live 10 blocks from the ocean so the moisture ate up my engine wiring harness, so that needs to be replaced.
problem #2: needs some rear end work done to it. The pushpin in the center of the rear end is where it needs to be but the bolt that holds the push pin in place, could not go in because the the hole for the bolt is not lined up.
problem #3: The brake lines need to be checked for leaks and bled. the front passenger brake line is cut but i have the replacement..
PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!! ......thanks in advance [ May 20, 2008, 10:16 PM: Message edited by: 23boy5.0 ]

If you are looking for a shop.. Don's Automotive at the corner of Mission and San Jose is pretty good. Also, House of Brakes on 24th and South Van Ness.
