I just got my car running again after putting in a new/used motor i got from a friend and at certain rpm's it feels like its running out of gas.i used a code reader on it and it threw a 95 code, i dont know if this is the problem or not and im not exactly sure on how to clear it. Has anyone had this problem, or know what to look into for getting it fixed? Any help would be very appreciated thanks

i had this pop up before. from what ive read its ok, if you had or have a switch to your fuel pump than u might have turned the key over without the switch on. this causes the fuel pump to 'hiccup' which is why the code 95 pops up.....doesnt mean your pump isnt working, just means at one point it didnt. also, it might be a bad ground...turn the key over but dont start it.....you should hear a loud humming comming from the back of the car. if so, your fuel pump is defiantly responding but just might not be working properly...OR you got more problems than you think, check for vacuum leaks!!!

well i've been driving my car so the fuel pump is definitely working. aparently this motor has been sitting for a while is it a possibility that the injectors could have gone bad somehow? when im driving on the freeway at about 2500 rpms it feels like its running out of gas..... im stumped [Confused]

i guess thats possible....but it might be timing also. i had the same problem where it would bog out like im out of gas but it was my timing/tps sensor...i got it fixed by johnB and now its running pretty good, no longer drives like its 'out of gas'
