I got a 302 H.O. block with a 347 kit in it and i picked up a set of 289 close chamber heads that have been CNC port and polished. The heads have 1.6 Crower r.r. and guide plates. My ? is how i have to change my push rods? I havent assembled to engine so i want to see if this is gonna work. Has anyone done this b4? Any input appriciated thanks!

Just buy a push rod length checker from summit or jegs and adjust the legth of the push rod untill the rocker arm is were it needs to be. Then meassure it and order the push rods from comp cams or who ever you wish to purchase them from.
