I have a 2001 mustang gt all stock except the flow masters, anyone have any suggestions for parts i should get?
P.S. my goal is to shit on a STI ASAP

Here is what I would do
373 gears
short shifter (assuming it's a 5 speed)
Trick Flow upper plenum w/ 75mm throttle body
high flow h/x pipe
ATI procharger w/ 10lbs of boost
90mm SCT MAF
Custom tune
drag radials

your trying to beat a stock sti or modded one. you dont need much to take one out. gears,basic bolt ons, and some MT DR's.... in my 5.0 the only major mods i got is cam,intake,gears and slicks. and i was dead even untill i hit 4th then i started to pull on him slowly.. ![[patriot]](graemlins/patriot.gif)

u sure it was an sti? my 450whp blown fox beat one on the freeway, but it wasnt by an impressive margin by any means. however, that one had an external wastegate for sure, and id imagine a bunch of other accompanying mods

yup it was a sti the guy told me. and we did a couple of runs. this guy all he had was exhaust... the guy you raced had some stuff done to it for sure .... also i have raced cars that are not sti's just regular and i smoke the crap out of them ![[burnout]](graemlins/burnout.gif)

subframe connectors, the largest drag radials you can fit on your rear wheels, and a 150shot.

3.73's are for 5.0's get 4.10's for a 4.6 2v engine, I had a 01 gt and gained 4/10ths in the quarter going to 4.10's and still had descent crusing rpm's also did pullies k&n and longtubes and was running 13.2's on stock tires ( no cats) then came the 100 shot of NoX unfortunatley traction became an issue but I stomped plenty of mild ss camaro's retard your timing 2 deg. with the 100 shot and run iridum plugs 1 step colder than stock. I got mine from vic hubbard in hayward.
