Post the specs on the cam. And describe your basic set up, u know h/c/i what SC? How many lbs? Fuel system, stick/auto, gears.... So John B or 93Pony could chime in on this.

main thing is the lobe center and how much overlap. You want to fill the cylinders so a wide lobe sep and a small overlap cam works well.

You have a stock block. It's going to make more than enough power to split it it even with the "wrong" cam.

or look at it this way
get the right cam, run less boost, and make the same power, and not worry as much about detonation
it will run but the cylinders wont fill as well, post up specs so we can see how much of a turbo oriented cam this is

If you are talking about the cam that I traded to you then you can just call keith craft.
But that cam was custom ground for a YSi blower.
Also, about Fostangs post, it wont fit in a stock 5.0 Block.....but I told you that. [ September 21, 2007, 05:11 PM: Message edited by: turbo50 ]

Dan i got a stock early block an whats in it is a custom turbo cam that I cant find the card or specs to right now, An yes i could just slap that cam in that i got from u an call it a day but was wondering if there would be any problems runnning the turbo cam for now? suks i cant find the spec card. if i do can u just re-degree the cam alittle to make it work alittle better with an supercharger than an turbo with the turbo cam?

dude you are going to want to pull the cam out and get some specs on it for more reasons than one.
There will be some part numbers on it or perhaps some engraving marks like on that keith craft cam you got from me.
If not you can send it out and have it looked at, Im sure.
Better safe than sorry.
Come on what is it just a few gaskets and 1 hour of time.
