well, it sounded like a 5.0// my brother had an '87 crown vic with side exhaust (with no mufflers) and it sounded the same. IMO for costing $0 it sounded SICK!!! but i still want an offroad x with my stock mufflers and tips.

i will pull the pipes off the car this weekend and make a few videos for you guys [patriot]

off road x, 2 chamber flows with turndowns. you could use 1 chambers and it will sound good however, you will have to scream just to hold a conversation

Where do I get a pair of 1 chamber or 2 chamber flows? and what about buying new flowtubes then if I don't get the full catback....dude someone should just sell that as a catback. Should I just go to a muffler shop and have some welded on?

You wanted something as loud as possible! Bassani o/r X pipe will make your car sound more "raspy". Still be loud, but you may not like the sound. If you wanna go Bassani X with some magnaflows, that might work for ya too, may not be the LOUDEST, but should still be loud!

Are you hoping that your 15 second or maybe high 14 second 97 GT will be sooo loud that you might intimidate someone into thinking you have more power than you actually do?

All I can say is throw the flows in the garbage and get your self a nice off-road x pipe and a set of BORLA XR1 mufflers a little expensive but way worth the $$$. Everyone and their mom has flows.

yeah spend all that money on borlas and start kickin yourself if you end up not liking them. alot of people like flows for a reason....its a classic deep tone....

i agree bassani and borlas sound good on new rides..but we're talking alittle older here...

FLOWS DUMPED = DEEP & LOUD!!!!

[Mad] The truth hurts oh so bad! I have a 98' vert w/ a catted x-pipe and flows. Not rediculously loud but nice. If you go O/R x or h you will get a lot of popping. One thing i must say is the drone w/ the flows and x-pipe gets old [Roll Eyes]

The X-pipe really has nothing to do with the drone, it's the flow muffler itself. Flowmsters are know for drone around 2k rpm. Although my Magnaflow catted X is running into a 3" flowmaster cat-back and i get no drone from the flows. [worship] [patriot]
