will a set of 18x9's fit the front of a 79 stang?Y2K 4 lug cobra's? thanks in advance.

is lowered my friends 89 gt rubbed alot with 18 9s with 265/45/18 my car rubs in the front with 17s 245/45/17 i had to go with 245/40 instead

being that his is an earlier model. the k-member is just alittle narrow than 86-93. I had 18x9 in the front of my 84 svo with sn95 arms, an 96+ spindals. pretty much the widest u can go a i hade minimal rubbing on the outer fender. so maybe foxbody arms an 94/95 spindals should be just about perfect. just my 2cents. since i know what i have ran with. what if all the suspension is all stock?

i have stock kmember,sn95 lower arms, 96+spindals,sn95 sigle calibur, mclaren springs, stock shockshard to tell from this pic but it didnt rub on fender but they were rolled from previuos owner.

i have 18X9 on my 91 gt. it lowered 1 1/2 inches and if you try and do a u turn with it to the lock it rubs. but if you give it enough gas you dont have to worry about that. honestly though the A arms have a metal rube plate for that exact reason. they should fit fine.
