1. Just converted my car, had to trim the trans tunnel. Installed the lower boot, when everything is bolted together the front of the shifter base is tight against the front of the boot plate. The shifter is also stretching the out of the boot, like the tranny mount is too tall. Replaced the mount with new urathane (same height as what I took out). I do have a Pro 5.0 shifter, does this have anything to with it? Any solutions? Annoying because it transfers noise into the car.

2. The plugs for the neutral safty switch were not jumped. No jumper in place when it was an auto. Car will start with or without plugged into the safety switch. Is there another place it can be bypassed? If not, car had a Sidewinder alarm on it when I bought it, can this have something else to do with it?
