torque boxes are probably ripped, allowing the rearend to sit off-center.

Major accident you don't know about?

thanx for the info guys i ran a carfax before i bbought it it came out clean but you never know. ill have a shop look at it thanx for the help

Does your car have adjustable rear upper control arms ? My rear end was over because my adjustable mega bite Jr. uppers safety nut came loose. Just a thought
