swaped axles on 91 coupe. filled up with gear oil, this is my third time doing this. Dont ask me why. Gear oil is leaking from left side of rear end. Basically out of the left axle. i don't think i overfilled it i used two and 1/4 bottles of oil. anything else....?

either your axles bearing surfaces are fucked or your seals are fucked.
did you inspect either before you installed?

no i didn't, i figured since it was the third time i've done it to the same rear end, there wouldn't be a problem.

axle seals...just6 pull the axles and replace them....might as well put in bearings too...you can get a kit called a repair bearing kit which comes with a new bearing and seal from Carquest or Napa...

When you pull the axles in and out is when the seals take their most significant beating.

OK so...now that this could be the problem. What tool do i need to remove and install bearing?? or do they just pop out?
