ok so i have a 91 lx with h/c/i, msd 6al and coil with a 6k pill in and an offroad x with stock muffs. at full throttle when i shift my car has a loud pop and then shoots a fireball out of both tailpipes... what could this be???
my timing is at 12* and my fp is set at 39-thanks -Nick

I had the same problem when I was running a O/R H-pipe and turn downs, I had people at bus stops ducking like it was a drive by..It would scare the shit out of people. It really got old fast, more annoying then anything...ever since I installed the X-pipe and put the exhaust out back, I haven't had the problem

i tried turning down the fuel and then i get pinging. but u think it is bad o2's???

Well it seems like you have too much left over fuel in the exhaust pipes. are you running with cats or a straight pipe? i know you tried turning down the fuel pressure but have you tried increasing the timing?
