best one for the money would have to be the trickflow intake, and the instalation is easy so it should not cost u more than $100 to put on, but u could do it yourself.

FYI:

I noticed zero gains at the track when going from stock headers to FMS 1 5/8" shorties at the track.

The intake should be good for 0.1 in ET

well i do most of the work myself, and an intake install is not that hard so that's why i put that price, plus i know some really good mexican mechanics that they would the work cheap and clean. [Wink]

They are both similiar in gains since the bottleneck is the stock head design.

I would do headers since they are much easier to install. Then I would change the intake when I get some aftermarket heads since they're right next to the intake anyway.

If you car is stock then I would suggest starting with the exhaust. Get some headers, x-pipe, and a cat back. You should notice a difference.

If you go with an intake you should also change the throttle body to a 65mm or 70mm unit. Also, while you have it off throw on a set of 1.7 roller rockers. This will give you a bit more valve lift.

For a stock motor I would pickup either a Cobra, GT-40, or Trick Flow. The cheapest option would be to get one used from the For(d) sale section.
