I would like to run the nice ford racing tall valve covers but mine question is what spacer would i need to run.This is on a 89 stang with a 2.5 cowl hood. thanks for the help.

It will be dependent on the intake you're running.

Run a 1" spacer and you'll be ok.

thanks i will order all this stuff in the morning.so i should have no hiting issues with my intake an my 2.5 cowl hood.thank again.

check the clearance with the throttle cable bracket hitting the valve cover. You will have to fab up the bracket
