well the clearcoat on my '98 has gradually peeled over the last year or so, but now it is noticeable in some areas, most notably the front bumper and areas around the rear of the car. by no means am i a paint guru, so is clearcoat one of those things that you can just slap more on of? or is this a sign that my paint is going bad? if a quick fix that will last a while is available that would be great. but if my paint is pretty much shot, i wouldn't mind shelling out the money for a fresh new paint job and some dent and scratch repair.

yea new paint, and not its not just a slap of clear you have to mask it up a prep it like any other paint job, think on the positive side you can paint it a differnt color, you are already ganna pay good money go a lil extra and get the jams painted, but dont do macco or miracle those guy get it in one day and leave the next find a good shop like two gun kid seems to have a good hook up, i use to be a painter prepper and a jamer and when i saw the pics two gun kid poseted up of the body shop i really like what i saw .
