1) What cam would give excellent power and have a nice "muscle car lope" yet still have enough vacuum for my power brakes and leave enough clearance between my stock pistons and stock heads?

2) Are stock rockers pedestal or stud mount? I have a set of Lunati 1.60 stud mount rockers that I would like to take off the shelf and use.

3) Would going to a '69 302 head make any difference in performance? Good? Bad? Anyone know if they use pedestal or stud mounted rockers? Not really sure how to tell the difference.

Thanks for any and all comments. Just in case you are curious, this motor is going in a '69 Mustang so smog is not an issue.

1) E-cam or Trick Flow stage one. Although, I don't think it is worth while swapping cams until you change heads.

2) stock rockers are pedistal mount

3) Not sure, but you are probably better off getting a set of GT-40/p irons or a good set of aluminum heads (then change your cam while you are at it)
