5.0 motor

i know the tq. pattern and i was told that i should tq them to 25 ft-lbs in sequence than do it again at 25ft-lbs in sequence again. is this true.

also what is everybodys opinion on using the front and rear rail gaskets or just rtv?

I would use RTV I always had better luck getting it to seal up right, also you probably want to go over the intake a few times in sequence at 25ft-lbs to make sure they are all tight [patriot]

Re-torque them again in sequence after a few heat cycles also. They always come loose after you run the motor.
