What grade of oil should i use on my high milage pony 5.0 stock....Its seems since ive started to use 10w 30 synthetic blend its been been burning that shit very quicky. After about 2000 miles after an oil change with that grade it says low oil and i dont have any leaks. Suggestions? all will help thanks.........

I would run 10W30 Mobil 1 full synthetic if you are worried about evap.

I run castrol gtx 20w50 in my 91 vert, its bone stock and has 180k miles.

I had the same problem I switched to Castrol's 10-30 High mileage oil and my oil comsumption has drop from a quart every 2500~3000 miles to 1/2 quart every 3000 miles

don't understand that...full synthetic is less prone to burn/evap than synthetic, unless he is loosing oil dude to a bad seal (rings). In that case, dyno is prob better.
