i have a 97 4.6 f150, i crashed it about 4 months ago, it was a front end collision, but on the left side, today i turn it on for the firt time, and the temp gauge reads less than normal beacuse its still cold, a few mins pass and then i saw it shoot up satight to the red,so i'm kinda scrathen my head on this maybe you guys can give some advice on what it can be, also the oil pressure gauge ead that it really high it read the guage limite high once again guys thatnks.

hmmmmmmm sounds like a faulty cluster if both happened at the same time

sound liek theres a air pocket in the cooling system. try bleeding it a few times.

Check and see if something is smashed up against the oil cooler if you have one. It looks like an aluminum case that has two coolant lines going to it, the oil filter screws onto it.
