I like 3.73's you dont really need anything higher than that if your going to do a lot of street driving.

I have 373 in My auto and they have been a good all around gear from basically stock to HCI & charged. If You aer'nt planning on adding a power adder down the line 4:10's might be a good choice.

PERSONALLY FOR AN AUTO- IF YOU REALLY WANT IT TO PULL HARD AND STEADY IT WILL BE BEST TO GO WITH 4:10 GEARS- EVERY FOXBODY AUTO THAT I HAVE EVER OWNED HAS HAD THEM- GO FOR THE 4:10 BRO- [patriot]

I was told that 4.10 gears was the best to go with by friends but they also said that if I was planning on driving along ways that it would burn my trans or rear end up !!!!! [Confused]

If your stuck between 3.55's and 3.73's then go 3.73's. If your stuck between 3.73's and 4.10's then go 4.10's and so on. [burnout]

JohnB put 3.73's in my old auto 94gt... I really liked them. Made a big difference to the butt-o-meter! [Razz]
I ended up putting a vortech on my 94gt and I was glad that I had 3.73's installed.

Exactly I am probably going to be close to the end of 3rd gear going through the trap's with My 373's now, so I am glad that 9 Year's ago when I swapped gear's that I went with the 373's.
