Im going to get the XE282HR cam. What is this going to do to my vacumm situation? My buddy has a similar cam, and had problems with vacuum, and burning oil. What all needs to be done? Thanks!

A valve seal was leaking, he thinks because of the cam, but I dont agree. Im basically worried about vacuum, what has to be changed if anything?

The cam isn't what caused the seal to leak. The cam played a small role in the entire process, but the valvetrain, and more specifically how it was put together, is the major problem.
I burned more oil after doing a cam swap but it was simply because the new cam, being more agressive, accentuated an already existing problem in my valvetrain.
Changing the cam again wouldn't have solved my problem and it won't solve your problem; or your buddies either.
