how much vacuum should a stock 5.0 make at idle. thanks.

If I hook a vacuum gauge to my car how many pound of vacuum should the guage read on a healthy motor.

11-15 at idle I would guess. Depends on the condition of the motor and if the idle has been changed.

11-15 is good but around 12/13 is best. My haynes manual says the same and when checking my car (when it was closer to stock a loooong time ago) it read 12.5 - 13

Im running a ecam in a 306 with supercharger an my vacum is at 10 at idle but all of my friends cars have 10 at idle to an they are runing the fcam.

where is the best place to hook up vac guage, I put it on my vac tree and it read 18 in/hg but my boost guage that is ran off the intake reads 15 in/hg, so I am going off the boost guage reading but is that still to much. I have a stock motor and the supercharger belt is off when looking at this
