Taking a servey. What are the best head gaskets? I have been running Felpro wire Loc for many years. I am also running Vortech S Trim 8 PSI of boost. What do U think? What do U trust?

Cometic are some really good gaskets. I would go with those. I have them on my motor and plan on blasting them with a 250 shot,so we'll see.

well you only use the loc-wire if you head is machined for it, correct? i would think that having a head machined for that, then not using the correct gasket would be somewhat of a drawback

For the wire Loc Gasket. It's already a preflattened wire. No machineing needed

Stay away from SCE "Titan" brand head-gaskets. They are garbage from my experiences..
Cometic get my vote. You can re-use them a couple times also.

Please don't post the same topic twice...You'll have better luck and probably better information if you just stick with one thread...
