5 point would be good.

I have an RCI brand that mounts either to the floor or a roll bar.

I think mine was right around 100 or less.

Check Summit...they've got lots of them.

I would get 4 point 2.5" to 3" belt width. The bottom mounts to the regular points, its the top 2 points that need to be parallel mounted from 0* to 10* below shoulder to be installed properly.

A popular ricer trick would be to install the shoulder belts straight to bolts to the floor, this is WRONG and just creates more injury in high speed crashes.

Do you have a roll bar?

no i do not have a roll bar. will that be the only way to properly install race belts? if so then i got something else to save for. if not what other options do I have OTHER than bolting them to the rear bolts of the front seat.

not to steal the treat but i have a 4 point harness on my 5.0 (just for looks) and i bolted the shoulder belts on the rear on bolts of the back seats and the lap belts i bolted them where the original belts were. Just wondering if that's safe? and are the 4 point harness legal to drive on the streets?

Nope, and Nope. 4pt. are not safe at all. I would throw them away. In an impact your body will try to squeeze under that lap belt. Especially since you are held in at your shoulders. 2.5" belts are for looks too. 3" belts are woven differently, alot stronger. Either way you should only use them if you have a harness bar.

but I did have a question about the seat belts, is there a harness bar "&" a roll bar to bolt seat belts to or are they one in the same?
