hello all. my first post here. i just installed a 2.2 kb on my 03 cobra. using the kb tune and 15psi i am making 501 hp. kb claims i should see 560. any ideas? here is the dyno printout. it is a switch chip (power/shootout) and vp 100 oct unledded/91 oct. stock gearing with 1"over dia tires.

Are you running the 3.25" pulley? You should definitely be seeing more power than you are. The most likely reason your numbers are low is because of your tune. Get a REAL dyno tune and your numbers will jump a bunch. Your A/F ratio could definitely use some work. Also are you having any belt slip?

We did a KB 2.2 install and ending up getting over 540RWHP about 2 months ago on 91 Octane gas. Jeff is right, you need to get the car to a Dyno and get a better tune. I would check the items Jeff has suggested and if you still need more help give us a ring.

im not having belt slipage. i agree i may need a "realtune" i just paid kb 300 for there chip. i may atempt a refund on that. i will wait to see how they respond to my complaint.

If you bought straight from KB i would get in touch with them to give them the run files to possibly make adjustments with a new chip.
Don't know if they will go so far to do so ....... they may recommend to get a custom tune.
