Hey everyone. Lately, my car has been running a bit odd. When I accelerate, the car would sputter. The tach needle would sort of jump up a tiny bit. It's almost as if the car has hiccups. Not only does my car hiccup during acceleration but at stop signs as well. My car stalled earlier due to that. I was wondering if you guys had any similar experiences and have any tips on fixing this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

- Tim

My car sputters too. Usually when I am on the gas and get over 3000 rpm's. Seems most notable when in 3rd gear. But my car doesnt die like yours and the idle isnt too bad. I replaced my fuel filter about 4 months ago. I am wondering if it is my fuel pump?

I already changed my fuel filter just recently. So I'm sure it's not that. So far, my car has only died once. But it still hiccups frequently.
