in a few months or so..lookin to do 2 major things to the GT.

Head Work & Cams!!

with these 2 mods to the GT....what would the RWHP gains be?

Also on the car will be..

Trick Flow Plenum
70 or 75MM Throttle Body (probably 75)
JLT RAI
Off Road X-Pipe
1 Chamber Flowmaster Exuhast

It all depends on what heads and cams your going with. I would also put LTs on. With LTs Patriot stage 3 heads and some comp cams I would say 300+

Couldn't you get a good blower set-up used for about the same price as all the mods you want + labor [Confused]

I think we all went over this with his last stang, now we get to start over... first exhaust, then rims/tires, what size tires, now heads/cams.... [Big Grin] but thats what we're here for, to help! [patriot]

i would just do the cams, heads and cams are expencive and would be better just to get a blower. A good set of cams will give u about 25-30 hp to the rear.

Just put in a couple of blower cams, in anticipation of your future supercharger. You know you'll get bored of just heads and cam. [patriot]

The JLT RAI will give you 8-10rwhp and about 15 lbft i think probably more with tune and the other mods.

Just to add a few things. Heads and cams $2k, gaskets, labor, injectors, chip and tune $500 or so, To get the most out of that setup you will need LTs and you will only put down 300rwhp for a price that will be in the$4k-5k. Or by a used superchager that comes with everything for around 2k install it yourself and put out another $500 for the chip and tune and put down close to 400rwhp.

I agree with bunchmyfunky, only you won't need injectors, and $4-5k for a headswap is too high of a figure. You did heads and cam on your old car, how much did it cost. It cost me closer to 2 1/2k myself. But I agree a used supercharger would not be that much more, and would give you way more power.

Actually my price is damn close. Thats including LTs and the mid pipe, chip&tune, H/C, plus all the odds and ends and labor. If your going to do H/C you have to do it right to get the most out of it. I'm fairly sure you will need injectors 19lbrs are rated at 338hp "flywheel"

My bad, I didn't realize you were including LT's and all. Still, the 19#ers will work good on all the power he will ever make with heads and cam. The 19's will work on apps with 300rwhp.

how about just leave it stock and dont worry about any problems for a long time! then when you have the money to put into it and any repairs for when something breaks [Confused]
