Just a quick question, but what are the acceptable tire sizes for a 10.5"x17" rear tire of a sn95 mustang? A lot of people put a 315/35/17 sized tire, but there are not a lot of tire brand selections in that size. Is it ok to go for something like a 285/40/17..? What do you guys think???

The 285 BFG KDW's work great on that size wheel.

most people use 315's but the contact patch with 285's is much better

W/ a 10.5 inch rim [Confused]

I would think the 315 would have a better contact area vs a 285 ...not too mention more "meat" to protect the lip of the rim(s)however that's personal preference.

If you run a DR you could always use some Nitto 315's as they run a bit smaller than most.

Got Nitto 285's, they work great, but go with the 315's, I am next time.

i'm just saying, with a 315 and 32psi, the outer edges barely contact the ground. if you deflate them when you're about to run them, then they'll work better than a 285.
