Have an 86 cv changed to 5 lug and cant get any pressure from the brake pedal, any ideas!!!!

Did you bleed the master cylinder?

Did you replace the Proportioning-valve that you had stock to a 4 wheel Disc Brake Proportioning Valve? Also the Master Cylinders for Disc/Drum are Different to Disc/Disc Aplications.

Thanks guys, what you said about the port. valve sounds right, im gonna start looking for an aftermarket disc/disc port. valve, and yes i did bleed the master cylinder, still no pressure.


where should i look for the port. valve?

Got more info off the net i read to use a 85 lincoln towncar master cylinder for the disc/disc on an 86, and gut the stock port. valve with a kit they sell on the net!
