Topic: New P/S hose???

Just got a new power steering hose from 5.0 resto, my old one was leaking. Can anyone tell me what goes in this hole on the side of the tube? my old one has nothing like this and it did not come with anything to go there.

Power steering pressure switch. It monitors the power steering pressure and tells the PCM when the power steering pump is putting a load on the system, the PCM then adjusts the IAC as necessary to maintain a correct idle.

but my current set up does not have this. No hole and to my knowlege, no wiring. did i get the wrong hose?

Id say just go to home depot and see if they have a threaded plug for it since you dont have that switch
