Author Topic: How hard is it to replace a 4th gear synchro? STREETFIGHTER unregistered posted                       Hard to get in & out of 4th(grinds). All other gears are fine. : SydeWaySix CAFords OG Member # 3596 posted                              a tremec transmission? pretty simple. it's the first gear stacked up on the mainshaft, and the synchro is right on top. make sure that's it though, could be something else, like a bent 3-4 clutch fork -------------------- 2013 Boss 302 #356.
