I have a 68 mustang with a 4 core radiator, 160 thermo, Electric fan with regular fan but i just cant keep it running cool any suggestions????? I was thinking aluminum radiator 2 core 1.25 good or bad idea??? The electric fan helps but doesn't solve problem.

whats your coolant to water ratio in it?! too much coolant will make the car run hot! is your timing too advanced or retarded?! have you confirmed the thermostat is completely opening all the way?!are you running a fan shroud! so many factors too consider! let me know!

Im not shure what the ratio is but i think there is more water than coolant. I do have a fan shroud on and i am running my timming advanced for more power the thermo is about a year old, but on my temp guage i can watch it hit 160 and drop back down as soon as it opens.
