how come my car feels slower with 1 3/4 long tubes and faster with 1 5/8 unequal shorties? i have afr 165's, edelbrock performer rpm, x303, anyone know why?

You may have lost some low end torque with the bigger headers.

probably bad sacramento air.
lol..just playin...try the 1 5/8 lt's i like those a lot.
yeah not enuff power to go that big....prob notice a nice gain if your spraying it too, at the track w/ the r's up nice and high...but most of the power band is gonna be weaker.
i ran open headers on my old notch one time , it felt slow as all hell...no back pressure....too much lost power. sounded mean though
