the previous owner was using ? I bought my car several months back, and am about ready to put the rebuilt tranny back in, but I realized that I don't know what kind of engine oil the previous owner was using. I tried to reach him but he's since moved. Is it probably real or synthetic ? What should I run ?

Really ? I was always told that if you run synthetic in a car after real (Penzoil etc) you can expect bad bad things to happen. Anyway, I guess I have no choice, thanks!
