What is the difference between them and why would you use low impedance over high.Im putting some either 55 or 86lb injectors in my car and want to know if i need to change the computer(like use a tweecer).

You can't run low impedence injectors with a stock computer unless using an injector driver.

I don't have experience with injector drivers and my first instincts is to not trust them though. I feel that your fooling the computer into running something that it was not designed to run so you will loose some resolution thus making it hard to tune the car. But this is simple speculation.

If you do happen to install low impedence injectors in your ride with stock electronics.. it'll idle but the first time you take it around the block your eec will be up in smoke.

If you want to run low impedence injectors I'd just go with F.A.S.T. or DFI or BigStuff etc etc. Even the AEM system requires a driver.

BTW siemens decka now makes high impedence 65lb injectors. [Eek!]

Which will support more hp than your stock block will handle.

Do you think 55lb injectors would work for 6-700 HP?

I would really recomend half filling your block and adding a girdle.

To get 7-8 hun. hp from a 306 will take about 15 psi depending on HCI.

Then another thing are those twin t4's even going to be able support 800 hp? I thought they are each rated for like 250 hp. So twins maxed out your only looking at about 400 rwhp @ about 5500 rpms MAX. Other wise bye bye turbos. Which 42lb injectors will be sufficient.

Theyre stage 5 turbos.Should be capable of supporting about 500 each.At least thats what the manufacturer says.
