This thing does'nt look straight. The car seems to run and drive just fine though. Looks more like the outer ring where the timing marks are. Is some runout normal? I just don't remember it being like that.

Has your motor ever been balanced? Or is this a stock motor? You could just buy a new harmonic balancer...

go to Vic hubbarts on A street in hayward. They stock new balacers. A non SFI balancer is cheap.

what you have is a worn out balancer.very common.they are put together with a rubber isolator which does wear out in time.Change it quick or it can get costly. It can fail one of 2 ways. One being it goes bad where it will fail inwards and can damage timing cover, timing chain etc... or it can fail the other way where it will come off from the front which can get ugly as well.both arent good so I would suggest fixing it ASAP

Do it right the first time...
My '94 balancer came off after racing someone and it wasn't pretty...It groved a hole in the timming cover...
I replaced it with a factory Ford part only to find out that after 2 years of it being on there the new owner of my car had the same problem...
I've talked to other 94 owners and that shit happens all the time with the factory balancer...Just buy a good one or one better than the factory POS....
Good luck...

My harnmonic balancer was hitting my water pump pulley. It went in the middle of a run. Many of 94-95 balancers have gone.

Get under the car and look on the backside of the balancer. If the rubber ring is cracked and coming out of the balancer it is definately time for a new one
