Can anyone tell me what this code means? I got this code form a Snap-On diagnostic scanner. The car is a 98 GT Vortec blown.

is the code p0605? if you have a chip, the chip will reset the memory on each startup

The chip will set the code everytime you start the car. Since you are blown, you (probably) have had the car tuned with the chip. The code is not causing any problems, it is just telling you that the pcm memory was erased. The check engine light will not come on for the code, so unless you are trying to smog the car and the car fails a code scan, just leave the chip in. Just pull it when you get the car smogged.

THE CAR IS RUNNING LIKE CRAP THOUGH.AND AFTER CHECKING IT OUT THE ONLY THING WE COULOD FIND WRONG WITH IT IS THAT CODE
