i have a bassani x w/converters. would an off road perform better? willi lose or gain HP?? cant i just cut out the cats and just replace the spot with piping to make it an off road x?? LMK.

I put a Bassani off-road X-pipe on my '92 in place of my Mac catted H-pipe. One thing for sure is the car is A LOT louder.
I did notice a bit of difference in the top end power.

My brother has a Bassani off road x-pipe on his 2k stang sounds tight!! get one from this forum or craigslist.com u can get one for about $100- $150 used. good luck. Ohh yeah u really never get pulled over. I've has mine on for 5 years. Just switch pipes 4 smog.

i have some borla turbo mufflers but the outlet is centered. i was told by one shop that they couldnt put pipes out the back cause of the centered outlet. is this true?? BTW, how would the borlas sound with an off road h-pipe??
