I was thinking of buying this motor how can i test it to see if anything is wrong if the engine is out of the car?I got burned once...need help?

Do a compression check. That's probably your best bet on knowing whether the engine is runnable or not.

You will play hell trying to compression test a motor out of the car. You might try a leak down test , or look for secondary signs like rusty oil or greasy spark plugs, it would be nice to pull the heads and really look around. Good luck
