Do you have the stock clutch fan?...Those are really hard to tell if they're not working properly...Most likely if it's the stock one, it's time to change it...If you have an electric fan ignore what I just said...

He meant fan clutch* not the actual fan. It's the thing right behind the fan. They're kinda've expensive new so u might want to try a local junkyard and see if that helps. Otherwise people on here all the time are practically giving them away

There could be a lot of reasons why your car is overheating...Most 5.0's have a poorly operating fan clutch, that's why I suggested it...Does the temperature go down if you get on the freeway and have a constant speed of 50mph+?....If it's find on the freeway, it sounds like a fan clutch to me...
Does your lower radiator hose collapse when you have a buddy rev the engine?...
Did you bleed the air out of the coolant system when you changed the T-stat?...
Did you install the T-stat in the correct position?...
What mixture of antifreeze did you use, 50/50?...
Have you done any modifications since it started overheating?... [ May 24, 2004, 02:46 PM: Message edited by: Black94 5.0 ]
