Ok, i want to know from experienced people here... Do the axles of 99+ GT's break if you run slicks? I have heard a bunch of people say they do on another board, but i think those people just misinformed... Anyone know from experience... I have a few friends that say that it will never happen with the amount of power i'm puttin down..

Thanks.... Justin

It's a toss up. Some rear ends just can't handle it from the factory. The odds are in your favor but it could always happen. [patriot]

I've seen people we 500hp and up with 31 spline axles run slicks and be all good. But then I've also seen a stock mach 1 with slicks break an axle. [Confused]

It better be all good with 31 splines unless you mean it was running 28's [Confused]
