What degree should I set my timing to since I can only get 91 octane at local gas stations in california? everyone says between 10 and 14. would 12 be cool?

the higher the better, set it at 14 run it gently, if it pings then back it off to 12. Every car is different, some cars like it as high as 20. Just keep playing with it untilyou find what your motor likes [patriot]

i ran 15 with the stock iron heads, no pinging. everycar is different though.
