have haulinassmaro put some gears in ur car for u
he charges $150 for labor if u still have drum brakes
new nearing are about $100
and u can get some used 3.73's from this board for a $100
that leaves u $150 for some sfc's
add $20 to make $170 and u have enough for sheldon "turbo302" to put a set on ur car

You're not a fan of rice "NAWS", we use nitrous on this board remember that. I think the gears and the subframes will definately be the best bang for buck on your car at this point. The gears will make a night and day difference and your car will feel a lot stiffer with those sub frames [patriot]

no way can u do headers, gears, and subframes for 600
if u bought some ghetto bolt on subfamres then yes, u could do it
but bolt on subframes are a waste of moneu and after time they destroy ur "frame rails"

spend and extra $100 and get some used headers for the car

then u will have a nice exhaust, stiff chassis, and the gears will really let ur car take advantage of the power ur motor is making [patriot]

Used gears? I know hes trying to make the most of his money, but to save 60 bucks on used gears is stretching it. Who knows what kind of hell those gears went through, and you cant just inspect the teeth to see how good of condition they are in. Just go to Summit and pick up a set for 160 bucks.

So gears will put you back 300, so I would guess some headers would be the best option to round out the exhaust.... I prefer JBA products in that department.

Well, do you have an automatic or manual?

Most likely you have a manual, and for regular street driving I think 4:10's are a little bit overkill. If you need to drive it on the freeway, you will be in 5th gear at 4500 rpms just to do the speed limit.

I would stick with 3.73's if its a manual.
