does any body know where I can find small to huge pieces of magnet blocks? They have to be very strong and hold metal hard.

I know radio shack sells magnets. I don't know if they're what you're looking for though.

Cuting apart a blown subwoofer is a good way to get a large strong magnet. Same goes for large DC electric motors.
