I am thinking about a mega-shifter from B & M for my C-4, what are your experiences with these? Any other shifter recomendations? I am looking for a basic ratchet shifter that I am going to use on the track occasionally, but mostly on the street. What are some good choices?

Oh yea, almost forgot, It needs to fit in my stock 1970 console with minor (if any) modification. Will anything work for this?
You can see the stock shifter and console in the pic, sorry it isn't bigger
