I have seen alot around fuel system stuff such as this....pump will work on any 86-97 or 87-97....but never 98.

I was assuming that the 98's were the same but wasnted to double check

fuel pump on ebay for example

so, xx-97 or until 98? Thanks!

all i know is that the 98 fuel pumps are different than the 96 and 97's. you can use a 97 pump in a 98, but the fuel pump will fail sooner than its normal life span...

Yes, you have an oddball '98 only fuel pump. Call up Huston Performance for '98 cobra pump.... or better yet stick in a '84-97 gas tank in your cobra.
