Checked Jegs/Summit/Kragen/Pep Boys, no one carries it. Only small online stores have them (scared of getting ripped). Prices range from $50-$250(Snap-on).

I was just wondering where you can get one that also has an outlet for the 87-93s spark plug hole.

Here's how to make one: http://www.650motorcycles.com/LeakDownTester.html
but I can't find where to get the Spark Plug/Hose adapter on the end to fit the Fox Bodies.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Summit carries them. Give them a call. $70 if I remember right. As for the spark plug adapter/hose..... use one from a Compression Tester.

Thanks st5150, It's $70 but on backorder until next month [Mad] . Machine shops charge $50 for just the test in Vallejo. Right now, I'm looking for some performance shops for one.

Actually, there's some on Ebay for $60. Thanks.

Check out Napa autoparts, I have a hunch they carry it..... or calling different mechanics and asking where they bought theirs.

You know you need an air compressor also, right? Just wanted to be sure you knew that.

Thanks for the info, most of the mechanics have Snap-on ones, but various other shops don't have one either. I have access to an air comp. I just need a leak-down and not a compression tester 'cause the engine is out of the car at the moment.

Actually, I don't think you will get any useful information from doing a leakdown test on a cold motor. The test is meant to be done on a motor that is as close to operating temperature as possible and with the oil rings having a normal amount of oil on them. Your results on a cold motor will have you believing there may be a problem that doesn't really exist. Them's the facts.
