i had them for a while and didnt care too much for them.Sold them to Rhombeus50 who ran them with an o/r H but he liked the flows better so he sold them also.A buddy of mine has the 3" catback with long tubes and a pro chamber with 500+ HP and he's really happy that Flowmaster is now coming out with a 3" kit. I dont think you'll like them as much as Flows(flows are deeper)They have that somewhat hollow sound cuz they are a chambered type muffler but it's not as deep and aggresive sounding as the flows, and they get a little flappy or raspy at certain rpm's

Ive got 3chamber flows right now that I dont like, the upper rpm sounds like the car is breathing thru a straw. any suggestions? im looking to spend about 150 or so, with turndowns.

I dont have tail pipes on it, just turndowns that aim right for the ground just after the exit of the muffler.

dont get me wrong, at idle they sound deep and powerful, but at the higer RPM is where I dont like its sound.
AaronC, that sounded wicked!!! what series/ size do you have? I like the idea of getting turndowns again. the pro dumps look good. I used to have a set of rusted macs but they were basically a hollow box! damned rust. [ September 12, 2003, 05:47 PM: Message edited by: 94gt ]

you both have mac setups? what model? I see they have a Mustang Pro-Dump for $200, which is what I was leaning towards buying...
but they have these other options too; 18" long x 12" wide x 4.75" thick, 13" long x 9" wide x 3.75" thick and Stainless Steel I would get the same ones that were on the old system, but its all rusted out, and any baffles that were there are now laying in the muffler!
thanks guys!

more hp & less drone than the flowmasters sounds right. so does anyone want this set? i have a 2 1/2" mac cat back for '94 up mustangs, but i also have the rear brackets that make it bolt on to the '87-'93 LX's also. they're in excellent shape, no dents or scrapes, & the chrome on the pipes still looks new. $150- Nic 650-873-8735 or 415-359-5050. i'm tryin to save up for my magnaflows!
