Author Topic: have a 5.4 modular sohc cam ?... roseville5oh ¯ Member # 406 posted                              I'm replacing the driver side cam in my cousins 97 f-150 w/ a 5.4. My question is: is there a way to bleed down the chain tensioner so I don't have to pull the whole front of the motor off, just to swap the cam?
