I just picked up a nice BBK adjustable regulator. I unscrewed my old one and went to install the new one. The allen screws don't want to go in easily AT ALL. Do I need to get new hardware? The instructions don't say anything but unscrew and then screw together.
Anyone done this and had this problem?
According to the tag, it is the correct one.

Are you trying to use the hardware from your original FPR? If so, that's the problem..they are different threads. I had the same problem with my Paxton one.

So I need to go down to some hardware store and buy new ones I take it?
Gotta love it when you ask Summit directly, "Is there ANYTHING that I will need to install this one?"
Summit DORK, "Not a thing, just don't lose those 3 allen head screws. They are small."

Did you just use regular screws, or should I be able to find similar allen head screws?

I ended up using Allens, but if you can find a standard type bolt (with like a 5/16" head) that would make things alot easier.

Well, got the right hardware no problem!
From what I was hearing, these were some of the BEST on the market. Look a lot better and more solid then some of the other ones Summit had.

I have the new one. It is blue and silver, power plus. The stock hardware didn't go into it, but when I went to the hardware store I got ones that went into it like stock.
